Second Life has changed how I take photographs, at least in part. I find myself looking at possible photos with an eye toward how they might look as landscape textures.
Yesterday, I took the good camera with me on a hike to Red Pine Lake. I took at least as many pictures of trail dirt, low ground cover, and rotted snow, as grand scenes of a mostly frozen alpine lake nestled among jagged peaks. The photos don't look half bad. I could use them with a little post processing.
